Naman Gupta is an emerging Indian-Canadian photographer and filmmaker based in Montréal.

He works with analog and moving-image processes to observe intimacy, place, memory, and the texture of ordinary life. Narrative and documentary film, black-and-white 35mm photography shot, developed and printed by hand, and, most recently, photogravure. His background as a quantum physicist informs a quiet attention to observation, structure, and material process.
